| Ongoing research |
The company's in-house laboratory performs at least three graduated compression tests on each garment. Each test produces a compression curve, allowing the margin of error to be known during the assessment phase.
Compression-measuring machines can even test the degree of compression on subjects that are wearing the garments. Most of the production plants have undergone engineering research in order to achieve better results in terms of both product quality and production performance. These changes are protected by patent.
There are countless physiological dynamics and pathologies that can affect the lower limbs and the situation is further complicated by the variables that define each individual case.
Sanyleg has embraced the challenge by setting out to create products that continually evolve and are known for their uncompromising quality. The use of fine yarns gives every garment an all-over high degree of elasticity, allowing for extreme wearability and softness. The differentiated compression along the leg has been calculated with great care and adjusted according to the results of ongoing tests, performed by competent and expert persons in this particular pathology. |
| The new generation of preventive hosiery |
"Nowadays, thanks to Sanyleg, we have a range of high quality products that are comfortable, elegant and effective. This means that they can be worn by a wide range of people, especially the young and active and those looking to take care of their leg heath. For true prevention, hosiery must have the correct compression, incorporate a true heel and be worn regularly over time. Up until recently, many people didn't buy them for aesthetic reasons or else didn't wear them regularly because of their poor fit. Finally, thanks to the creation of Sanyleg, we have hosiery that is elegant, easy and pleasurable to wear, and yet carries out its preventative role. I was pleasantly surprised by the latest generation of Sanyleg hosiery because the garments are modern, stylish and extremely comfortable yet effective in terms of control and support. From a specialists' perspective, I am very satisfied because what we have achieved is a stocking that combines preventative qualities, elegance and a support that really works.”

The formation
of varicose veins |
 |
| There are two venous systems in the lower limbs that take blood from the veins: the deep system and the superficial system. The two systems communicate with each other through the anastomotic veins; these have valves that allow the blood to pass from the superficial to the deep system, and not the other way round. Varicose veins are the result of a pathological condition that primarily affects the deep venous circulation, causing valve closure or insufficiency so that the blood, reversing its journey, passes from the deep to the superficial system, causing the superficial veins to bulge. |
